Manager, Marketing and Engagement
Élan manages The Harwood Institute’s brand cohesiveness, as well as the promotion of its services and products.
With over a decade of progressive experience, Élan has demonstrated ability in managing new markets and expanding digital platforms. In her previous positions she managed marketing and communications for the Russian Proton rocket, and led branding and lead generation efforts for identity and access management solutions in the life sciences industry.
She received a specialized BA degree in intra-media communications at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and studied at the George Washington University for her MBA in global management and marketing. In addition, throughout her college career, she cultivated or founded student organizations focused on student engagement and community building. She also sits on the board of the James E. Lewis Museum of Art in Baltimore, MD.
Élan lives in Northern Virginia with her son and Doberman. When she is not leading her son’s Cub Scout den, or cheering his sports teams on, she can be found hiking, volunteering in the community, or doing genealogy research.
