NEWTOWN — The Sandy Hook School Building Task Force met for the last time Friday, May 10, and unanimously decided to keep the Sandy Hook Elementary School at its current location.
First Selectman Pat Llodra has asked state legislators for 100 percent reimbursement for the school building, meeting current building codes, which may cost between $42 and $47 million.
Referring to the task force’s work during its May 3 meeting, Facilitator Rich Harwood, president and founder of The Harwood Institute, said those discussions were not a reversal in the process.
