DeSoto County Community Initiative Resource Portal

The Patterson Foundation is partnering with The Harwood Institute for Public Innovation to ignite community-led change in DeSoto County. The goals of this initiative for DeSoto County are twofold: 1) Generate community-led change by taking action on key issues that matter to people; and 2) Strengthen DeSoto County’s civic culture so the community can accelerate and deepen its good work.

The Harwood Institute and The Patterson Foundation share a deep belief that the people of DeSoto County must shape and drive the community’s future. The solutions are right here in the community and our work must build on the good that is already happening. At the heart of this initiative is the belief that, by working together, the people of DeSoto County can build a more inclusive, hopeful path forward.
