United Way Greater Richmond and Petersburg is partnering with The Harwood Institute for Public Innovation to ignite community-led change in Richmond. The goals of this initiative are two-fold:
Generate community-led transformation by addressing key issues concerning children and youth in Richmond.
Strengthen Richmond’s civic culture, thus allowing the community to accelerate and deepen progress.
The Harwood Institute and United Way Greater Richmond and Petersburg share a deep belief that the people of Richmond must shape and drive the community’s future. The solutions are right here in the community, and our work must build on the good that is already happening. At the heart of this initiative is the belief that, by working together, the people of Richmond can get on a more inclusive, hopeful path forward.
