Emnet Sisay
Events and Network Engagement Manager
Emnet Sisay is a public engagement professional with a background in journalism and communications. She previously worked as a public diplomacy practitioner in diplomatic missions, including public relations, United States government exchange program administration, and alumni and network coordination, where she effectively communicated with national and international communities and developed and implemented strategic partnerships.
Emnet joined the Harwood Institute in September 2022 to be part of an organization that serves diverse communities. In her role as Events and Network Engagement Manager, she manages the President's speaking engagements, including the nationwide Healing & Hope Tour, and works to strengthen the Institute's network by cultivating and maintaining meaningful relationships with partners across the country. She also coordinates the Institute's events and provides support to the Public Innovators Labs.
Emnet enjoys traveling, hiking, documentary films and live music as hobbies.
