Maritza Coscarelli is a former professional ballet and contemporary dancer turned certified coach, researcher, and speaker. Her years of eclectic experience qualify her to support and guide others in creating impactful change in their lives and communities. She is the Founder and Chief Empowerment Officer at Maritza Coscarelli Coaching, elevating the inspired missions of women in their prime.

A TEDx speaker, best-selling co-author,  and Distinguished Toastmaster, she studied Performing Arts at New York University and Human Development at Eckerd College. She performed as a soloist with Ballet Hispanico and other companies appearing on world-renowned stages, in film and television. The lessons in creativity, discipline, and high performance learned as an artist are invaluable in her work today. 

Seeking an even deeper connection as a coach to her Latinx community, she immersed herself in the Harwood Institute labs, coaching certification, community research, and coaching communities in applying the Institute’s philosophy and practices. In her coaching, she is committed to co-creating a more equitable, inclusive, and hopeful society.

She derives deep fulfillment from her family as a proud first-generation Dominican-American New Yorker,  a wife, and a mother of two exceptional young adults. She resides in South Florida, where she enjoys her work, long beach walks, yoga, meditation, and good reads.
