Stacie Molnar-Main is an educator and consultant whose work focuses on promoting better outcomes for youth and families through strategies that foster intention, support collective learning, and build authentic systems of support and accountability. Most recently, she has advised and supported the Pennsylvania Department of Education’s Office for Safe Schools in its efforts to support improvements in school climate and school safety through a focus on equitable trauma-informed learning environments. Her recent research, supported by the Kettering Foundation, focused on documenting approaches to k-12 civic learning that engage students in deep conversations about difficult issues to support youth development, critical thinking, and problem-solving.

Stacie resides in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, a robust urban and agricultural region that has been recognized by the BBC as a welcoming community for new Americans. She has served on the board of several nonprofits in her community and is a former director of the National Issues Forums Institute. Stacie holds a doctorate in Teaching, Learning, and Leadership from the University of Pennsylvania - Graduate School of Education, and is the author of several articles, white papers, and a book on important topics in education that fall outside of the “tested” curriculum.
