Suzanne Mineck

Founder & Chief Executive Officer, Mineck Advisors

Suzanne Mineck serves as Founder and CEO of Mineck Advisors, bringing more than 25 years of experience and expertise from a variety of philanthropic leadership roles. As a nationally recognized expert in transformative philanthropy, she offers a unique understanding of nonprofit leadership, fund development, and giving strategies—along with innovative thinking and connections to local and national initiatives addressing pressing issues.

For more than a decade, Mineck served as CEO of Mid-Iowa Health Foundation, overseeing the vision, partnerships, and strategies that advanced community initiatives working to improve central Iowan’s health and well- being. Prior to that role, she spent 15 years working directly with nonprofits and philanthropists to support transformative giving through The Stelter Company, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the American Cancer Society, the University of Iowa, and the University of Memphis. Recently the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs named Mineck as Honorary Consul for the states of Iowa and Nebraska. In addition to her career, Mineck prioritizes serving on nonprofit boards, which currently includes Polk County Housing Trust Fund, the Harwood Institute, Iowa ACEs 360, and the Science Center of Iowa. She has been recognized with the following awards: Des Moines Business Publication’s Woman of Influence; Luther College Distinguished Service Award; Prevent Child Abuse Iowa Community Prevention Partner of the Year; Iowa Homeless Youth Center’s Community Partner of the Year; National Campaign for Grade Level Reading Council of Champions; and the Business Record’s Forty Under 40. She is an alumnus of Luther College.
