United Way Leaders from Across the Country Attend The Harwood Public Innovators Lab

Last week United Way Worldwide staff and teams from 10 local United Ways focusing on education mobilization came to the DC area to attend The Harwood Public Innovators Lab.  Participating United Ways included Battle Creek, MI; Columbus, OH; Lafayette, LA; Lancaster, PA; Miami, FL; New Haven, CT; New York, NY; Santa Fe, NM; Spokane, WA; and Toledo, OH.  The Lab marked the beginning of our multi-year partnership with UWW.

The Lab will help local United Ways turn outward and mobilize their communities around education. This was the first step in sharing Harwood’s approach and framework throughout the UWW system.
