JEN ALGIRE
President & CEO
Jen Algire moved to Winchester to assume her role as president and chief executive officer of The Greater Clark Foundation in 2012. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Politics and Women’s Studies from Wake Forest University and a master’s in Social Work and Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Immediately prior to joining the Foundation, she was chief of staff for Premier Inc., the nation's leading alliance of hospitals, health systems and providers dedicated to improving healthcare performance. In other prior roles, Jen has served as the chief executive of private not-for-profit organizations as well as in senior leadership within local government. Her professional interests include community governance and civic participation, as well as the role of transparency in social capital markets. Jen’s board term began in 2012 and she has served as the secretary since 2016.
