Andrew Taylor is a social research consultant based in Guelph, Canada. For the last 25 years,  he has worked with nonprofit groups, grant makers, government departments and collaborative planning tables in the public benefit sector, helping them set the stage for more meaningful evaluation work and better evidence based planning. This work has often explored themes related to poverty, food security, and community collaboration.  In 2010, driven by a desire to help organizations get better at translating evidence into insight and action, Andrew and longtime collaborator Jason Newberry founded Taylor Newberry Consulting.  Now a team of more than a dozen people, TNC runs research, program design, and planning projects across Canada.

Since 2016, Andrew has worked with the Harwood Institute on a series of community research projects exploring themes related to public capital and community engagement.  Andrew is also an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Guelph, where he teaches program evaluation.
