Headshot of Britta Vaughn

Britta Vaughan

Studio intern

Born and raised just outside of Chicago, Britta is a junior at George Washington University, majoring in international affairs and minoring in French. Her experiences participating in cultural exchange programs in Morocco and France sparked her curiosity about the innate human values we all share despite whatever our perceived differences may be. She seeks to devote her life to promoting mutual understanding and emboldening others to deliberately choose empathy in the face of division. Britta was drawn to the Harwood Institute because of its commitment to these same values. For the past year and a half, she has worked part-time for a boutique consulting firm focused on helping nonprofits and associations grow. In her free time, she sings in a cappella group and performs in student theater.
