Delena Markos

Delena Markos is a student receiving a Bachelor's in Linguistics and Global Education from William & Mary. Delena was drawn to language as a field of study by observing inequities in her multilingual community. With her educational background and academic research, she hopes to work towards a more functional and equitable multilingual world.

At The Harwood Institute, Delena furthers that goal of equity across communities primarily with the Harwood School, helping ensure that Harwood's civic educational materials and Turning Outward approach are shared with as many people as possible.

Outside of work, Delena enjoys making comics, watching drama series, and taking bike rides through local parks.
