Drawing from a diverse upbringing as the son of a retired Nigerian diplomat, Kevin's global perspective was cultivated through experiences in multiple countries and exposure to diverse cultures. After earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from the University of Nigeria, he embarked on a journey to the United States to further his education. He successfully attained a Master of Arts Degree in Political Science from Howard University, focusing on International Relations and Comparative Politics. Notably, he stood out as the sole Master’s student to receive a graduate assistantship, which allowed him to teach and delve into the intricacies of American government and politics.
His professional journey began with roles at esteemed institutions like the Fund for Peace, where he conducted impactful research on the Lake Chad region of West Africa. Subsequently, at Howard University, he engaged in transportation research. While his background has predominantly centered around global leadership, a recent revelation has shifted Kevin's focus toward community-level leadership—a realization that sparked his interest in joining the institute.
In his role as a Studio Associate, Kevin plays a pivotal role in the management, execution, and logistical aspects of public capital research initiatives. His work involves amplifying community voices, contributing to writing projects, and shaping tools, content, and messaging that resonates with communities and public innovators across the nation.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Kevin is a published author known by the pen name Kevin C. Noel. Under this pseudonym, he has penned urban fantasy and historical fiction works. An ardent reader and devoted cinephile, Kevin indulges his passion by annually revisiting classics like the Ten Commandments, the Maltese Falcon, the Godfather trilogy, and the Lord of the Rings.
