Menal Khanna
National Campaign Manager
Menal Khanna is a strategic and values-driven nonprofit development professional from Colorado Springs, CO. She started her career in Denver, CO at a local grassroots community fund and made her way to the DC region in 2021 to expand her learning, scope, and impact. Since then she has worked at a variety of organizations building capacity and investment through development operations, marketing and communications, program development, event strategy, partnership management, and community engagement. Menal would call herself a ‘development generalist’ – able to see the whole picture and fill in the gaps.
As a people-first leader, rooted in authenticity, intentionality, and inclusivity, Menal was drawn to core values of The Harwood Institute and the Campaign for the New Civic Path. At The Institute, she works to drive the expansion of the campaign, grow and strengthen the Institute’s network, amplify Rich as a civic leader and the Institute’s work.
Menal loves to stay connected with her roots through Indian classical and Bollywood dance. She enjoys traveling internationally, visits her home of beautiful Colorado as often as she can, and cherishes her own community in D.C.
