Miriam Kirubel
Community Partnerships Manager
Miriam Kirubel has worked across international and domestic organizations such as the Malala Fund, Vital Voices Global Partnership, and LIFT. Most recently, as a Program Director at the Malala Fund, she led the organization’s largest grantmaking and network-building program, transforming it to catalyze collective action and advocacy for girls’ education worldwide. Miriam holds a degree in Political Science from the University of Virginia and brings over 13 years of experience in the social impact and nonprofit sectors to The Harwood Institute.
In her role as Community Partnerships Manager, Miriam manages The Institute’s community initiatives across the US, equipping partners with the support needed to activate effective, community-driven change.
In her spare time, she enjoys reading, cooking, exploring new cities, experiencing live music, and spending time with friends and family.
