"Focusing on What the Community Does Well"
For Project 20/20 chair Talia Champlin, creating change requires groups "to focus on what the community does well." Drawing upon her experience at the Harwood Public Innovators Lab, Champlin is working to identify "pockets of effectiveness that we can nurture and grow," adding, "It's not something we have to bring in and ignite. It's already here and going, and it's unique." To learn more about what Champlin and Project 20/20 are doing in Battle Creek check out MLive.com's article on the group and their goals.
